In beta with musicians — and what comes next
Tonagi is in the hands of a group of musicians through TestFlight, and their sessions are shaping the last stretch before the App Store. Since mid-August the free tier is wider: Sequences and Routines are no longer Premium-only — three sequences of up to eight steps and three routines of three phases are free, forever, tutorials included; Premium lifts the limits. The community library opened with curated material: the first sequences from Carl Flesch's Scale System, ready to download and play along with. iCloud sync is being tested on real devices, keeping sequences, routines, temperaments, presets and recordings in step across iPhone and iPad — the audio itself still stays with you. Next: the App Store launch this autumn, the fuller sync once the beta has proven it, and more curated material in the library.

Search-first library, batch uploads
The library now opens with a single search box — type a composer, a key or an instrument and results appear as you type. Every item page shows what's inside the file before you download it: steps, notes, range, tuning systems. Contributors can upload a whole batch that shares one context, each file validated and reviewed individually. Metronome presets left the library — they take seconds to make in the app, and the shelf space belongs to material that travels: sequences, routines and temperaments.

The community library is ready for launch
Publishing is live behind review: sign in with a one-time email link, upload a sequence, routine or temperament, and it appears in the library once approved. Likes help the best material surface. Browsing and downloading stay open to everyone, no account needed.

The site is up: the app, the concept, the name, and a community library in pre-launch — with static pages for every future item, and downloads that open straight in Tonagi.
