Notes and accompaniment travel separately.
Share the exercise without sharing anyone's rhythm — and let whoever receives it snap the two halves together with one tap.
- 1
Sculpt the pacing. In Accompaniment mode, every step of a sequence can carry its own duration, time signature and BPM — inherited from the previous step, like markings on a score (4/4 at 80 by default).
- 2
Export it your way. When you share, you choose: notes only (.tgsequence), or notes + accompaniment — two files, with the .tgaccomp carrying rhythm, tempo and meters separately.
- 3
The two halves find each other. Tonagi recognises which sequence an accompaniment belongs to — even after renaming — and applies it automatically. No matching sequence yet? It asks you to import it first.
Sequences uploaded with pacing show a with accompaniment badge — the download offers both files.
How publishing works
Start an upload →A name, nothing more
Publishing and liking need a creator profile — a display name musicians can trust. Your email never appears anywhere.
Reviewed before it appears
Every upload starts as a private submission and is reviewed before it joins the library.
A catalogue, not a text box
Composers and works are picked from a curated catalogue. Missing a work? You'll be able to request it.
